Un\u00adder the sci\u00aden\u00adti\u00adfic di\u00adrec\u00adtion of Prim. Univ.-Doz. Dr. Tho\u00admas M\u00fcll\u00adner, PhD and Priv.-Doz. DDr. Ma\u00adxi\u00admi\u00adlian Kas\u00adpa\u00adrek, MSc from the Evan\u00adge\u00adli\u00adcal Hos\u00adpi\u00adtal Vi\u00adenna, the aim was to pro\u00advide an up-to-date and in\u00adte\u00adres\u00adt\u00ading up\u00addate on the most mo\u00addern and la\u00adtest tre\u00adat\u00adment tech\u00adni\u00adques. This ye\u00adar\u2019s fo\u00adcus was on the lower ex\u00adtre\u00admity, with a&nbsp;broad sci\u00aden\u00adti\u00adfic pro\u00adgram on hip, knee and ankle surgery.<\/p>\n<p>The con\u00adgress star\u00adted on Wed\u00adnes\u00adday, April 10, with the first-ever \u201cRoo\u00adkie\u00adday\u201d, which was or\u00adga\u00adni\u00adzed in co\u00adope\u00adra\u00adtion with the Young Fo\u00adrum of the \u00d6GOuT. The aim of this new trai\u00adning for\u00admat is to of\u00adfer stu\u00addents and as\u00adsistant doc\u00adtors a&nbsp;plat\u00adform to ex\u00adpand their know\u00adledge and ex\u00adch\u00adange ideas with ex\u00adpe\u00adri\u00aden\u00adced spe\u00adcia\u00adlists. To round off the in\u00adten\u00adsive con\u00adgress day, an evening event took place in the Weit\u00admo\u00adser\u00adschl\u00f6ssl, a&nbsp;beau\u00adtiful, his\u00adto\u00adri\u00adcal lo\u00adca\u00adtion in the Gas\u00adtein Valley.<\/p>\n<p>The third day of the con\u00adgress on Fri\u00adday, April 12, 2024, star\u00adted with the to\u00adpic of os\u00adteo\u00adpo\u00adro\u00adsis. This was fol\u00adlo\u00adwed by dis\u00adcus\u00adsions on spi\u00adno\u00adpel\u00advic ali\u00adgnment in hip ar\u00adthro\u00adplasty and ili\u00adops\u00adoas im\u00adpinge\u00adment af\u00adter hip re\u00adpla\u00adce\u00adment. In the area of com\u00adplex ca\u00adses, the ap\u00adpli\u00adca\u00adtion of pro\u00adxi\u00admal fe\u00admur re\u00adpla\u00adce\u00adment in re\u00advi\u00adsion ar\u00adthro\u00adplasty and the op\u00adti\u00adons for an unsta\u00adble hip pro\u00adsthe\u00adsis were dis\u00adcus\u00adsed.
