As part of the Ma­thys hip re­pla­ce­ment mee­ting and the ana­tomy work­shop in Salz­burg, Priv.-Doz. Dr. Ma­xi­mi­lian Kas­pa­rek worked as a spea­ker and sur­gi­cal in­s­truc­tor. His fo­cus was on the AMIS tech­ni­que (An­te­rior Mi­ni­mal In­va­sive Sur­gery), a mi­ni­mally in­va­sive me­thod for hip replacement.

Dr. Kas­pa­rek not only shared his in-depth know­ledge in lec­tures, but also pro­vi­ded par­ti­ci­pants with prac­ti­cal trai­ning in the ope­ra­tive ap­pli­ca­tion of the tech­ni­que, which is con­vin­cing due to its gentle ap­proach and fas­ter rehabilitation.
